MONTE DAS AMENDOEIRAS

Inserted in a rural area, this picturesque property is privileged by its orientation to the south and east, implanted in a soil with agricultural characteristics and predominance of almond and carob trees.

Under the obligation to maintain the pre-existence dated from the beginning of the 80s, which despite being inserted in a rural area did not have the characteristics of the most developed traditional architecture in the first half of the 20th century.

The focus of this project was to create the relationship between the interior and the exterior, make the most of the sun exposure and adapt this country house to a contemporary lifestyle and simultaneously provide it with some characteristics of the Algarve’s popular house visible at the level of stonework and chimneys.
